Livianna Tossutti

Livianna Tossutti is an Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, Brock University. She has taught courses in Canadian Politics, Political Parties and Elections, Civil Society, Global Migration, and Quantitative Political Analysis. Her areas of research expertise include the local governance of immigrant integration and cultural diversity, and the political behaviour and representation of immigrants, racialized minorities and youths.

She is the lead author of Canadian Politics Today: Democracy, Diversity and Good Government, and co-author of three editions of Canada’s Politics: Democracy, Diversity and Good Government. In 2018 she was the recipient of the Faculty of Social Sciences Award for Teaching Excellence (Brock University).
