Spencer Henson is a Professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Guelph and an affiliated faculty of the Guelph Institute of International Development (GIDS). His work focuses on nutrition and food safety and quality, in Canada and globally. He has undertaken research in over 50 countries, and has a special interest in the food-related challenges faced by developing countries.
